We run the experiments, then build what they point to
Most of what gets said about AI search is guesswork repeated confidently. We would rather measure it, publish the method, and let the numbers be argued with.
Omnipresence started from a problem with the tools. Every AI visibility platform answers the same question: are you mentioned, and how often. None of them answer the one that comes right after it, which is what you should actually change.
That gap isn’t a missing feature. It comes from measuring the wrong thing. A mention count treats the model like a black box that either says your name or doesn’t. But what actually happens is the model runs a series of searches, reads a set of pages, and decides from those. The pages are the lever. If your tool never shows them, it can’t tell you what to do.
So we built the measurement we wanted first. Prompts run over and over with search left un-forced, so the model behaves the way it would for a real person. Results come back as a rate with a confidence band instead of a yes or no. And control prompts sit alongside the tracked ones and never get worked, so you can attribute a lift instead of assuming it.
Then we connected the rest of it. The graph shows you which sources decide each answer, and the Agent MCP takes that graph into whichever tool you already work in and does the work against it.

Fourteen years in search, now pointed at AI
Omnipresence is built by Jonathan Boshoff, who has worked in search since 2012 across agency, in-house and founder roles. Clients have included UBS, Liebherr, Edmonton International Airport, Jobber, Loopio and Looka.
His current focus is agentic SEO, or what the industry now files under AEO and GEO, and research into how AI answer engines retrieve, rank and cite sources. That research has been featured by Search Engine Land and SEO Notebook, and it’s the same methodology the Agent MCP runs on.
The work behind those years
- 3x increase in organic signups for a resume SaaS
- 10x increase in top-three rankings for a project-management SaaS
- Seven-figure organic revenue lift for a fintech lender
- More than $3M in annual influenced pipeline for an RFP platform

AI scores one chunk of your page at a time. How many chunks you need depends on your market, so benchmark against the pages already cited. Adding quotations raised a page’s visibility in AI answers by 40.9% in the GEO benchmark.
