Getting started
From a new account to your first week of real data.
Updated October 20, 2026
Omnipresence measures how often AI assistants recommend you, which searches they run on the way to an answer, and which sources they quote. Setup takes about fifteen minutes, and the first useful chart arrives the day after your first scheduled run.
The shortest path to data
Six steps, in order. Each has its own page, and each ends where the next one starts.
- Create your account and start the trial.
- Create a project for the site you want to track.
- Add a model key, so prompts can run.
- Connect your AI and let it do the setup. This is the fast path.
- Or set it up by hand, if you would rather write the prompts yourself.
- Read the first results, and know which numbers to ignore for a week.
What you need before you start
A domain you want to measure, a list of competitors you care about, and an OpenRouter or OpenAI key. Every plan runs on your own key: you pay the model provider directly at list price, and we never resell or mark up a model call. If you do not have a key yet, the model key page walks through getting one.
What takes time and what does not
Everything in the console is immediate. The data is not: a prompt measures a distribution, and a distribution needs probes. One probe is close to a coin flip. A week of batches is a baseline. Set the schedule on day one and resist reading the trend until it has about five points on it.
